So i signed up for the new EveryDay Preferred card when it launched the other week. During the process it asked if i wanted to do a balance transfer from another card, lately id been extremely agitated at how USBank was treating me so i put in the $2200 i had on there. I was approved for the card, and called in to find out my limits and what not while the card was still in the mail. I was told my limit, and that i WAS eligible for the 15k MR bonus point offer, but that the balance transfer was limited to just $700.

No big deal, transfer that over, pay off the rest of the USBank Visa, be done with them. For several days nothing happened, didnt see anything showing up on the card online. Until tonight. I just logged in and saw that the FULL $2,200 was paid to my Visa and transferred onto the new Amex.

Not really complaining, but just confused as to why they would tell me they would only do $700 and instead end up doing just over 3x that amount.....has this happened to anyone else?
