This might be written somewhere already but USairways agents need to book JL awards off of revenue inventory and not award inventory.
The agent I spoke to had no luck finding Jal award space but at one point he found a note stating to book using revenue inventory and that's what he did. Hope this helps anyone that's been having issues booking Jal awards using DM.
Is there anyway to accurately search for JL availability? I'm seeing it on JL.com but US cant see if which makes me think JL may hold some of their seats for JLMB members (as CX do for Asia Miles members). If JL.com is the only accurate way of searching 1W availability - how do you find actual JL metal flights?!
