If the former, then US will interline your checked bag(s) through to your final destination.
If not, then it's more problematic.
As to whether you will receive all your BPs at your originating airport ... that depends. Sometimes the technology works. It's not "an option" for you.
The PNR is the same for both US flights (ATL-PHX, PHX-SFO), but it's different starting with the SQ flight. I bought the ticket as a multiple airlines ticket. Does this mean I shouldn't have to worry about my luggage in PHX and just check for it at SFO?
