All passengers on single itinerary included in A-List check-in?
I haven’t found this asked and answered elsewhere—but it’s a rather odd question to search.
My wife and I are A-List members, so obviously we don’t need to check-in ahead of time—that’s handled for us. But if we have a third person on the same itinerary (i.e., with the same confirmation number), and that third person is not A-List, would we have to check in that person separately? Or would our A-List status automatically check in all of the people on the itinerary—including the third person?
Also, being A-List, my wife and I will both get Fly-By security access—but I’m assuming that the third person won’t, correct? I suppose there’s a possibility that the agent at the head of the line will glance at my boarding pass and my wife’s and just wave us through without looking closely at the third—but I wouldn’t plan on it.
