Perhaps, but you can usually get better sale deals than the standard child fares which are based on a discount off the full fare. Often times, WGA fares are much cheaper than senior and/or child fares.

Call up and ask! I don't see why Southwest would no let you use points to book a fare that's more expensive than WGA...
