I prefer AC- classic pod. LX staggered layout with more singles (not just thrones) hands down beats AC staggered. I found the LX single window better for sleeping (you can curve into the fusilage if you are a side sleeper). I do not recall if the LX foot coffin is as tight as my recent experience on AC HD.
Re on board service- overnight is same on both- feed, turn off the lights and disappear.
Re food- LX completely depends on route- I have had a great version of a menu item (Swiss specialty item) from Europe and a completely inedible version of the same dish from Singapore.
Re actual seat- I find LX seat has more padding or 'give'- not sure if it is the inflatable part of not. One thing I find odd is that the LX seat 'air bag' seems to deflate and re-inflate at random intervals.
