Hi everyone,
apologies for starting a new thread, but I could not find an equivalent after a few searches.
This used to be the "old" Sofitel in the Sukhumvit area, but has been re-branded as a lower/cheaper hotel. I used to be a regular here, but defected to the new Sofitel Sukhumvit over the past 1+ year.
I'm booked into the Grand Sukhumvit for a trip in May due to the irresistibly low rate of THB6355 for 3 nights.
Does anyone know what formal privileges they offer to Accor Platinum? Sofitel Sukhumvit has always at least given me club access and free breakfast. I don't think the Grand Sukhumvit has a club room. And internet access is (finally) free at the Grand Sukhumvit these days. So perhaps just a bigger room? I used to go so often that the check-in staff would recognise me and always give me a suite upgrade, but I haven't been in nearly 2 years, so we'll have to see. It's also not clear what tier this is as it's not a Pullman/Novotel/etc.
Thanks in advance for any info. I'll also be posting my experience here once I've been!
Link to hotel here if anyone else is interested -

UPDATE: Got a reply from the hotel re their policy
