ITV in the UK has been running the original version of AIRLINE for two years. It focuses on EASYJET. After watching a couple of episodes one would never want to work there, or fly on it! I doubt the US version will be a realistic...

WINGS CHANNEL is currently running a new series of AIRPORT that was filmed immediately post-9.11.
