2 of us - arriving 12:40 at JFK on Business Class on 14 August 2014.
Trying to get home to Ottawa (YOW) and the only option I can find is LGA - YOW (Economy) at 20:25...

Ideally would like to avoid switching airports and a ~8 hour layover...
I think I have looked at every option, but maybe I am missing something and someone could suggest a better option??

Would it be possible to just book this and try to get standby on an earlier flight when I arrive in JFK - if so how much would the standby fee be?
