I will arrive Friday night (8PM) for a stay at EWR before an 11AM Saturday morning flight.

It is a CAT4, so probably not worth the extra points for Ren or FS, right...especially on a weekend?

The Ren has a decent rate of $129 and recent threads seem to indicate their CL is open on the weekends....might be a good option?

Any feedback on the choice?
I've used the EWR FI many times including just a few weeks ago. It's still one of the top FI properties I've experienced. They almost always upgrade me to a suite and the breakfast is the best I've experienced at a FI. They usually have very good Park & Fly deals which is one of the reasons I stay.

As you note, the nearby Ren seems to be starting to lower their rates a bit to a level more in line with the FI. I haven't tried the Ren yet but am giving it a go this fall.
