A bit rude to dismiss another poster's review in such a way! He/she obviously enjoyed their stay - indeed I'm sure most of us would. In any case didn't someone post on here that the much loved FS Park Lane has reproduction furniture - I don't see that mentioned as a negative on here. Personally in the setting of a Palazzo I might prefer the reproduction to something modern like B&B Italia. I'm not an expert on furniture so unless I was to turn everything upside down I might not notice.

We can't all afford €1150 for a box room at the Aman - great if you book one of the grander suites at €3650 - even the cheapest Palazzo room is €2150!

To the OP -in September we are staying at The Ca'Sagredo -
http://www.casagredohotel.com/ which is another Venetian Palazza in the same vein as the Aman - the cost for a junior suite fo 3 nights is just slightly more than that box room at the Aman! The only mention of it on here is a review by David O I think.
