I've never quite understood it myself, the business class loo on AA 77W is palatial compered to anything on BA metal. I appreciate that not every carrier can go quite as crazy as Emirates but you would have thought they would have made a little effort.

I'm going to the US in a month, happy to be using AA, will try to avoid BA until they are once more competitive.
