I called Sunday at 1am central. I did not get an estimated time on hold. It ended up being 42 minutes. I tweeted Delta Assist to ask if something was going on. The response was that "they were experincing high call volumes." I asked if there was a better time to call that wouldn't have as "high call volumes" as a Sunday at 1am.
Not quite as bad as when I called UA last summer on the day of the Asiana accident and was told "the current wait time is 3 minutes," only to be on hold for 2hrs 20min.
