so even though Amex users charge more than the others, they make a smaller percentage of users, so not taking the card isn't quite as deadly to the merchant as some here suggest.
I can tell you that I haven't seen asian restaurants that I have been to that accepts Amex or Discover. They only accept either MC or Visa. Could make up a decent percentage of that discrepancy.
