I stayed here recently. We had a jr suite and a superior. The jr suite was lovely, the superior very small (no proper bedside tables). Bathrooms in both were of good size. In-room amenities also nice. My wife loved the understated design. Bedding of high quality but mattresses very hard. I would opt for a jr suite or above to avoid disappointment.

Service was good, friendly, not overly formal. They only serve breakfast which was limited but of good quality. They have a self serve bar at night (using an honor system). Wifi is free.

I had some minor issues. My SLHW beloved status was not recognized upon check-in (no additional benefit offered). I requested a restaurant recommendations before arrival and some of the suggestions were not appropriate (though the restaurant we picked was wonderful). Minor irritants only.

This hotel is not for everyone. It is low-key, private, and discreet. And in a fabulous location. If looking for opulence, grand public spaces, people watching and glitz this is not your hotel.
