I'm not sure why people stick around with UA if the main location only has regionals. If DL or US-AA have mainline, why stick with UA? I understand if all 3 big players only have regional, but RDU, ATL, etc, no reason to stay with UA and the flying sardine cans.
Much better network for the places my family and I need to go, is the main thing for me. Also UA is where my status is and my travel is very sporadic so I wouldn't know if I'd be able to switch and retain it. Then there's mileage redemption, which we'll see how it shakes out.
