I saw this incident while taxiing out on a different Delta flight. It appeared to be a no-flap landing, and the 717 rolled to the end of the runway (33R, which is 12001 feet long) with the thrust reversers deployed until the aircraft stopped.

Then my aircraft, already late, had to join a herd of others to take off on runway 27. We were nose-to-nose with a C-17 and a 747F while the ground controllers pointed everyone to the new runway.
