This may well effect people's decisions on which FFP to join

Changes are:
  • Elimination of Explorer awards (the multi-stopover, mileage-based award)
  • Removal of the allowed stopover "at the Nth American Gateway" on AA and All Partner awards
  • Variable Anytime Awards depending on demand (now similar to the Qantas Any Seat award)
