My SO is a cheerful WestJetter (much to my occasional chagrin) so we spend a lot of time hopping around the continent on standby. One of the things WestJet does, which I love, is to allow door delivery for gate checked bags (if you ask). I understand that this is an option for any passenger and not just nonrevs. I often wish I had this option on AC when I'm late for a flight and stressed about where my bag will go, yet not stressed enough to endure a 45 minute wait at YYZ.
