Yes I know on Intl flight crew has to check their bags. But they are put in a separate part of the hold of the aircraft in a shared container. So knowingly, they get offloaded very quickly by ground handling staff.
We've waited on occasion, but hypothetically...last on should be first off. They're last on should we be recruited unexpectedly for another flight assignment.
