Pittsburgh, PA, is somewhat along the way. The newer Hyatt House on the Southside has some of the friendliest staff and in a happening area. Also nice is the Hyatt Place on the North Shore (near the stadiums and casino). Pittsburgh has topped some of the newer best places to visit without spending lots of money, and it appears that you will be there the perfect time of year! I live in the PHX area, but moved her via SF, but originally from Steelers Country!
