When I first saw the email, I was like, WOW, finally they are recognizing their FFers, and this is fantastic news... but then I read more and realized the REAL intent behind it. Basically they sat down and said, hey, how can we make more money from the front row seats and not just only offer it free to Elite users? oh, lets add an inch, start charging more form those and market it so ppl are fooled to think this is extra benefit for Altitude.

Air Canada Marketing is in OVER DRIVE, and they are fooling everyone with this... this is actually ONLY beneficial for Air Canada to generate even MORE $$! It's NOT AT ALL for Altitude members... those seats are offered for additional fee for ALL, and basically if someone paid, booked that seat, the Elite members are out of luck, regardless of their status!
PLUS, ALL below E75+ are just screwed... another kick in the nuts for E50 folks... makes me REALLY SICK!

Oh, and for the fees, I paid $40 to upgrade to PREMIUM Economy on United, YVR-SFO, now it costs $40 for just front row seats on AC... again another way for AC to squeeze passengers more.

I AM SICK of this! AC doesn't give a crap about E50 below... I resisted and resisted, but may finally have to jump ship to United. They really do value their FFers more...

PS. THE PLANE needing this extra leg room is the horrific 777HD, and obviously that's not being done!
