I was #10 out of 36 on Monday afternoon 777 flight from ATL to LAX couple weeks ago(S fare), I used to get cleared about 2 to 3 days window for this route, but this time looks like no one was cleared until at the gate, it was 12 seats open still the day before the flight then all the sudden dropped to 3 seats open at the gate, no one was moved from E+ to F.

I also checking other ATL=LAX flights, it seemed like DL holds the around 10 seats until the day before flight even on Saturday, a friend of mine who is also PM purchased the ticket a week ago for 777 flight form ATL-LAX tomorrow (Tuesday morning), it was 22 seats open in F with only 23 E+ being occupied at the time of purchased, and now he said there's only 2 seats open in F with entire E+ section been occupied.

Any PM upgrade success between ATL and LAX? Does anyone know what's going on now?
