Haha. Well the good thing was it was just a general csr - I was not in any sort of trouble or anything. I just called in for a general question. I pretty much told her the truth - My SO has a very long commute (120miles roundtrip for real). We go through a lot of gas. I noticed that chase freedom has a limited offer of 5% cash back at gas stations, so I bought lots of gift cards to be used during the upcoming months. The csr said that gas has gotten so expensive and she thought it was a great idea.
