Two more observations on this issue.

If I make a reservation through aaa.com/hertz and add a coupon code (PC), the reservation will instantly reflect in my hertz.com reservation list. If I don't, it won't.

When you modify the reservation made on aaa.com/hertz at hertz.com (the way I described in my first post) it changes the Hertz confirmation number (but not the rate).
