HOP! has its own plate: 163, but travel agents use 057 or 074 for HOP! flights, depending on the market.
By the way, unless I am mistaken, all flights operated by HOP! that involve the CDG hub are marketed only as AF flights, not as A5 flights.

You need to be travelling on a BASIC PLUS or a MAXI FLEX fare.
I seem to remember that you could purchase a package of miles for each flight, but I don't remember if they were qualifying or not. And because I'm one of those who requalifies through segments (surely everybody else too?), what about those segments?
You only buy award miles. As a result, the corresponding segment does not count for status.
Only under the AF code, rather than the newer A5 one which is HOP's code, apparently?
Earning rules for HOP! operated flights with the AF/KL FFP are the same under the AF code and the A5 code.
