Having suffered numerous EDI -CDG runs on the 3+3 Cityjet RJ85, I can say it is not an aircraft I am very fond of these days, yet bizarrely back in the days of Air UK I used to quite enjoy the EDI-LCY on the BAE 146 Whisperjet as it was then called.
The Cityjet versions have 2-2 seating at the back though don't they?
BA used to fly the RJ-100 in 3-3 config domestically. I did a mix of Y and C on this aircraft between LCY and MAD a few years ago. It isn't great even in CE I thought. The upside was that the overheads are big enough to put in a full size bag wheels first (unless you sit under the wing).
