I would personally say that you have a decent chance of getting the lower rate if you print out the email confirmation showing the lower rate. Ask to double check your rate at the Gold counter (before you drive to the gate) and then if it is the higher rate, then say that you were quoted something else. Double check your receipt when leaving the gate.
