I've seen it occasionally when people spent too much time in the lounge past boarding time & expect the airline to hold the plane for them. Is it a priority to get to your destination or to mill around in a lounge that gets you nowhere? I don't think Lufthansa did anything wrong here. As the author said that OZ and KE do announce their flights in the lounge, he might as well choose to fly them as not every airlines work the same way.
