I was somewhat surprised when flying SEA-PHX a couple of days ago to find it was one of the planes with retrofitted sits and power. It was a 737-400 with the "old" overhead bins (no Boeing Sky Interior, obviously) but newer seat options.
A seat back card explained the changes:
Must of been a -800. No -400's are being retrofitted. As of now the -800's that are being retrofitted are keeping the 'old' overhead bins.
