I don't know if I'm the first one to break the news, but I just called to cancel one of my executive cards (I have two now), and I was told by CT rep that if I cancel this account, ALL miles I got transferred to AAdvantage from this account will expire in 30 days if I don't redeem them!!!! The story was that too many people closing cards after getting bonus because of high annual fee, so rep said this is how CT decided to react. I dont know if delay with miles posting was related to the associated changes they installed on AAdvantage system. I said I will think about my cancellation decision, because I can not redeem miles so soon. Is this information correct???? Anyone??? Please confirm...
