Well BA is about $250 more expensive than LH and I heard the service isn't that great. But thanks for the insight on the extra fees. I think I will look for either:

Chase Sapphire Preferred
Chase United Mileage Plus
Chase British Airways

While there isn't a Chase branch within 200miles from me (despite being a top 4 bank), I'd like to keep them. With the history it should be easier to get a card with them.
