As for a US company placing an embargo on MH: so typical to react after the event. A really clever company would place an embargo BEFORE an incident. And the reason they don't is because nobody has a crystal ball - in other words this incident could have happened to any airline. Did companies embargo UA and AA after (or even better "before") 9-11 ? No, of course not!
Well for me, for personal travel, Air Asia is a better value. Many of Air Asia flights are $120 or less. To pay $500 plus to earn 1,000 miles just doesn't make sense.
As for my employer, who is an American household name, in the air transportation business,....I trust that there is more to this story than has
been reported in the media. Which again has been proven by the constantly changing story line from Malaysia Airways.
