You seem to be mixing things. Is Malaysian Airlines inept, or is Air Asia better value?

As for a US company placing an embargo on MH: so typical to react after the event. A really clever company would place an embargo BEFORE an incident. And the reason they don't is because nobody has a crystal ball - in other words this incident could have happened to any airline. Did companies embargo UA and AA after (or even better "before") 9-11 ? No, of course not!
