I don't normally check in luggage, but this time, I had to check in some golf clubs. So I had to wait for the 251. Otherwise, they were happy to move me to another flight. I saw other DMs being told to run for the earlier flights though.
Like someone mentioned before there should be a clear and open policy on what airlines will compensate or not compensate. It seems very inconsistent, in this thread you have someone in a similar situation got hotel room and meal vouchers and even upgrades. In my situation we have a bunch of KA staff simply telling us to "sleep here" and "no compensation".
