I have been traveling on AA for several years as an EXP/PLAT but lost the status this year. So this is my first experience using a saver award without status. I learned that saver awards are not eligible for the Main Cabin Select seat purchase in advance, which is unfortunate. My question is will I be able to purchase a seat upgrade upon on line check-in (assuming a seat is available of course)?
