There are some 753s going through refurb, so you might've got one of those. They changed to the slimline seats to pack more sardines into Y. Not sure about the exit row, however if they only have 2 seats then my suspicion is that there is very little (if any) additional legroom in the 2 seat row compared to a normal exit row.
