I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but within the last 2 weeks, when I make a reservation on AAA.com/hertz and use my Hertz Gold number, the reservation does not automatically show on Hertz.com as it has in the past. If you are logged into Hertz.com, the reservation made through the AAA website will not show even if you input the Hertz reservation number manually (it shows an error code).
I have found a way around this. Logout of Hertz.com, then input your reservation number manually from the AAA website on Hertz.com. Once the reservation appears, modify it. Login as a member DURING the process of modifying. Complete modifying on Hertz.com and then it will show on your list of reservations, just as it has in the past.
What a pain in the a*s.
I've had the same issue. I did logout and was able to see the reservation like you did. Did not try to modify it, but I will. I did call Hertz to see if my AAA reservation was linked to my Gold number and it was. Not sure why it doesn't show up like in the past.
I know that Travelocity use to book AAA.com Hertz reservations. Now that Travelocity's booking engine is Expedia, I don't know who books AAA.com Hertz reservations but the entire process is not the same.
