Of course, he accommodated them gladly since there was plenty of other room. We all chatted for a bit and when it came time for the drink service...rum and cokes for us!

I've started a practice of bringing chocolate airplanes from a local candy maker for the FAs and always get offered drinks. But since this is always my morning flight I reluctantly decline.

I think the FAs have a frequently thankless job and really appreciate some attention as fotoflyer88 points out.
That's a nice gesture giving them chocolate. I flew LHR/DTW back in December and overheard the purser mention to the guy in front of me during boarding that he took his family to London and was joking that his son's favorite thing about visiting London was the London Eye and Cadbury chocolates and his son and wife always wanted them chocolate when he does a LHR trip. I had a couple bags of the bite sized bars I bought at Duty Free and gave him a handful and told them to give them to his son or pass out to the crew and his face lit up at that. I had some cheese in a bag I bought at the duty free harod's Duty Free and he offered to put that in the firdge and asked my meal choice right away Pays to be nice to your crew He also got a JWD certificate which he really appreciated. Someone else was giving out Starbuck's to the flight crew in the J cabin as a holiday gift which I thought was great.

I'm surprised WN doesn't give a-listers JWD certificates to pass out like the legacies do. It's a great way for frequent flyers to show graditude to the crew and front line staff.
