Quick question before we book tickets to NRT. My wife is DL Gold and has a business trip to Japan. She must book her ticket through her employer's travel agency, but can use her DL Medallion number to earn the miles and get preferred economy seats, etc. I will be accompanying her on this trip, but have no Medallion status with Delta and will be paying for my own ticket or cashing in some of her points. Is there a way for her to book my ticket using my Skymiles #, but under her account so I can have the option of sitting beside her in a better seat? Or is it no benefit for her to book me? Alternatively, If I buy my own ticket, can my itinerary be added to her account to open up the preferred seats for me?

I know this is kind of a weird situation, but any info would be appreciated.
