I reckon mine costs me on average £5200

I've been a silver member for 3 years now.

Due to my other half working abroad ,I have travelled to Ebb and back several times a year to visit .

Each time I go (usually 6/8 weeks) it costs me between £1100 and £1500 for a return in WTP, and I receive 180 tier points.

Admittedly, I have had 95% UUA to CW which adds £30/£40 taxes each way and 12500 avoids each way.

So far I haven't managed to get the golden 1500 tier points within my year but working on that!! My first year I didn't even understand it and was 60 points short.

I'm not by any means complaining about what I'm getting for my money spent on BA , as I see it they're extra treats, incentives, perks .I'm grateful they fly direct to my destination.

But I see that for some doing TP runs, the most points for least spent is an important issue.
