However, most of the time the point breaks(PB) are places I wouldn't ever want to visit. I was looking at the mastercard option because it seems the best use for cash equivalent, made better if it could be used anywhere mastercard is accepted. Does anyone really think it is limited to only merchants who are hospitality/hotel related? The verbage looks like it indicates that....but it isn't a sure bet in my opinion.

My employer hands out these cards and the Visa/AMEX equivalents as incentives and they work anywhere that accepts the relevant cards.
Some companies though have started to refuse to accept the pre-paid card for online purchases. Raffles mentioned it on his site a few weeks back. These are mainly companies where you pay household bills - Sky TV, council tax etc.
