I have not heard of the special sale in the garment district - where is it - what are the hours that the stores are open - what sort of clothes (quality) and what sort of discounts does one get there?

In terms of men's clothes, I am satisfied with what I can get in Ottawa - I just want the basics (shirts/pants/coats etc)- not interested in designer clothes.

However, my wife and my sister are interested in clothes that one can not easily find in Ottawa, Toronto, or Vancouver - especially non classical pseudo European fashions and/or designer fashions. My 7 yr old daughter, plus 12 and 10 yr old nieces, are in the same boat - they want clothes that they can not get in Canada outside of Quebec.
