I stayed here a month ago and I have some really mixed feelings...
It was fairly easy to get to (during normal business hours), no problem walking to the station coming from MXP. Going into town took a while, but also easy using a tram, and since the rate was low I did not care.
The bad:
Major Power outage, no food etc for several hours while checking in, area is not bad - but also not interesting in any way - if you are an adventurer (or denied early checkin) you can walk to the big soccer stadium....
Final problem, getting to MXP if your flight leaves at 8:10 - I had to take a cab at the tune of 100+ Euros....
