I'm a believer in bringing a printout too.

Some conference blocks seem to be done through online reservations using passkey. Their pages look very much like Hyatt, Marriott, or whatever, so if one clicks on a link from a conference website or email, it would be very easy to miss the fact that this seems to be a third party.
