Has anyone had any luck getting full mileage for flights booked prior to the change announcement? Booked a trip to Asia for April on a K fare and had booked it in October when the fare earned 100%. With these types of changes, often they will grandfather existing reservations based on the terms when you bought the fare, but no luck here.

I tried contacting UA to request that they rebook into a fare class that earns 100%, but they just keep giving me the runaround and directing me back to Aeroplan. Have others had any luck? Any suggestions? Difference between 50% and 100% is 7500 status miles, so it's significant.
