I was given the "complimentary" Gold on United, in which I have to earn 15 segments or 12,500 miles before 5/31 in order to keep, which I would like to do.

Since these have to be on United or Copa, I only have 1000 miles and 2 segments qualifying for this so far. I need to go to PIT and Cape Cod (so BOS and PVD are both ok) sometime in the next two months anyway. I need to be in PIT over a weekend but otherwise have pretty open availability as far as when and how long. Is this even easily possible to do with these destinations or should I try something else? I've never actually done a real mileage run before.
