I was expecting a 10PM PDT switch, but not because it was announced. In my experience Southwest tends to kill its sale fares around that time of day.

Weird. I've always seen sale fares available until midnight-ish California time. I wonder if midnight Central time is a new thing? It would make sense since the whole airline runs on Central time (aka "Herb time").
