Southwest didn't want to make a change on April Fool's day

If your flight confirmation shows a date of today (not on the email in gmail, but on the actual message text), then I doubt they will acknowledge an error. If the difference is only a few hundred points, I'm sure one of the Southwest reps at the 214 phone number would do a courtesy adjustment.

Southwest headquarters is CST--many functions of that site happen at 10pm PST (1am EST).

Here's an aggravating one: Fare sales go away at midnight EST on both the select a flight and final booking page. But from 1AM EST thru 3AM EST they show the new, regular fare on the select a flight page, then sell for the lower sale fare at final checkout. It took me a while to figure that out. I'd always 'think' that I had till 1AM EST, get stressed when the fares doubled, wait on hold while they tell me I'm out of luck, then right when I get off the phone (at 1AM) the fares are back down for 2 more hours.
