I was expecting a 10PM PDT switch, but not because it was announced. In my experience Southwest tends to kill its sale fares around that time of day.
I'd rate your odds of getting the adjustment as excellent, not least because so few people will have been affected and because your time of purchase is easily verified. Your simplest option is to PM one of our Southwest reps here on FT.
